Black Myth: Wukong Chapter 1, title Black Cloud, Red Fire; introduces players to key game mechanics, including the important staff skills used by the main character, the Destined One. The chapter takes players through the Forest of Wolves and ultimately to the lair of the Black Bear Guai.

Prologue
An epic battle between Sun Wukong and the gods of the Celestial Court is recreated in the game’s 15-minute prologue. Here, Wukong, control is given to players as they fight Erlang Shan since there is no health bar, and they cannot lose.
This is a tutorial scene for game’s combat mechanic, highlight some special move, like A Pluck of Many and Cloud Step, that will be used by the player when become the Destined One. Future confrontations with Erlang Shan are hinted at in this short battle.
Forest of Wolves
Chapter 1 starts in the Forest of Wolves, where the Destined One emerges out of a peach and, without pause, assaults a fleet of enemies made by Wolf Guai. Players must defeat a Wolf Scout and a Wolf Stalwart in order to unlock the Front Hills Keeper’s Shrine.

Later in the game these items unlock some significant power ups. From the Skandha, you can make your way to the Arbor Meditation Spot and onward to the following Shrine.
Secondly Forest of Wolves Part two contains most of the exploration including a transformation into a cicada where players can find hidden areas and secrets.
The first real challenge takes the form of Wandering Wight, a boss which demands the use of dodging to defeat.Eventually, players win and receive a powerful spirit, which can’t soak up yet.
The second Wolf Guai is brought to our attention by further exploration of this character name, and this character is named Guangzhi as well, as the wielder of a double-bladed polearm. Its Red Tides Transformation, which provides a great heavy damage dealing ability to players after beating Guangzhi, is now in.
As with any traveling mandate, players must progress through each area in order, before reaching the next, with ringing the first of three bells needed in order to unlock the Ancient Guanyin Temple. Then players go on to the Bamboo Grove.
Bamboo Grove
Players encounter several new enemies in the Bamboo, as well as NPC Ma Tianba and Yuan Shoucheng helping them out on future transformations and spirit cultivation.

Ancient Guanyin Temple
Ancient Guanyin Temple is the residence to Elder Jinchi, a boss who understands with Wandering Wight. Its fight is much like Wandering Wight’s, except now Jinchi regains health from nearby corpses.
Playing through the final boss battle at the end of Chapter 1 and the Fireproof Mantle Vessel, a necessary item for defeating the final boss in that chapter.
Black Wind Cave
The chapter concludes in Black Wind Cave, where players face the Black Wind King, the humanoid form of Black Bear Guai. The Black Wind King is the toughest enemy encountered so far, capable of turning into an invincible gust of wind.
Once defeated, players acquire the Cloud Step spell, which allows them to transform into mist and perform counterattacks.
The final stretch of the chapter involves a climb to Bodhi Peak, culminating in a battle against Black Bear Guai. With the Fireproof Mantle Vessel, players can mitigate the damage from his flame attacks and defeat him.
